The Razor's Edge

A hundred times I felt this razor's edge
You can see the scars on my pale white skin
I'm so afraid to look in the mirror
So afraid I'll find this horrible terror

You point the finger at my dark side!
That turned me into this dangerous liar
It hurts so much knowing you're not with me
Eternally crushed when you left me

How many time do I have to confess
Caught in the lies that made such a mess
I lost track of time
Do I cry in vain?
When drugs & alcohol doesn't ease the pain

For eternity, I've been locked inside
Took every sedative to keep me alive
I can't count the times I fell on my face
Drank away the sorrow tIl i couldn't see straight

Every choice I made led to nowhere
And everything still happens for a reason
I keep watching as the days go by
I can still see I'm going nowhere

It's like death, trapped in its' hold
Tried everything to get away
So what's the use?
My bloody heart has turned a shade of grey

or at least that's what you've said
But you ripped my heart out anyway
